What is Ceramic Fiber Paper?
Ceramic fiber paper is an type of high temperature insulation material,it is made from refractory fiber wool by fiber washing process. It featured with low thermal conductivity,good thermal stability,flexible,widely used in metal casting,foundry and related heat treating industries.Ceramic fiber paper is also used as gasket in refractory and sealing applications.
Fengyuan Refractories refractory paper is non-woven fabric,it is based on alumina silicate ceramic fiber,these papers could be used in high temperature insulation up to 2300 degree F.
Procedure of Manufacturing
Ceramic fiber paper uses ceramic fiber bulk as raw material and it is made by wet forming process. The wet process usually uses raw materials such as solid-liquid mixtures,gas-liquid mixtures to react to produce ceramic fiber paper and then roll it.Ceramic fiber paper featured with uniform thickness, smooth surface and good flexibility. It can be further processed into products of various sizes by cutting or punching. It also has its unique applications.
