Range of Refractory Castables
Conventional Castable
Conventional castable alumina content is 45%-65%.The main raw materials are bauxite,silica fume and refractory cement.Working temperature is from 1000-1550 degrees,density from 2.15 to 2.35 g/cm3.Conventional castable is used as refractory lining in boiler,heating furnace,cement kiln,pizza oven or furnace repairing.
High Alumina Castable
High alumina castable contains higher alumina.It is based on bauxite or corundum,mixted with alumina powder,refractory cement.Working temperature ratings up to 1700 degrees.It is used in cement industry,steel plant,metallurgy,chemical industry or other heat treatment furnace.
Mullite Castable
Mullite castable is made from high quality mullite aggregates.The alumina content of mullite castable is not very high,but the strength,wear resistance and stability is better than bauxite based castable.It is used in high temperature parts such as kiln mouth and cooling zone of cement kiln,or kilns require better strength and wear resistance.
Corundum Castable 
Corundum castable alumina content is 90-95%.Density is 3.0-3.1g/cm3.Working temperature more than 1750 degrees.It is based on white fused alumina or brown fused alumina.It is widely used in metallurgical industry,chemical industry and CFB boilers.
Low Cement Castable
Low cement castable featured with high temperature strength and low porosity.The CaO content is less than 3%.Compared with traditional castable,it have better performance and have higher density.Low cement refractory castable is widely used in furnace(kilns) which require high abrasion and corrosion resistance.We have three types of low cement castables:bauxite based,mullite based and corundum based.
