Electric Arc Furnace

EAF is one of the most important steel making equipment in the area of metallurgy, using scrap steels as raw materials. In recent years, a series of new technologies have emerged in EAF steel making, which leads to higher demand for electric arc furnace.

EAF furnace including four parts: bottom,tap hole,wall and roof.

In electric arc furnace,the mainly used products are magnesia bricks,magnesia carbon bricks,magnesia chrome bricks, magnesia series ramming mass and castables.

Converter Refractory Brick

At present, top-bottom combined blowing technology is the main converter steel making process,as it can abbreviate steel making time, enhance quality of liquid steel and reduces the cost of steel making. Meanwhile, lining erosion is accelerated. In this connection, Fengyuan provides clients with high-quality converter refractories and a complete solution for combined blowing converters.

Refractory lining for converter is mainly magnesia carbon brick.

Because converter furnace is mainly affected by erosion-corrosion,slag corrosion and mechanical damage,magnesia carbon brick with high corrosion resistance is the good choice.

Tundish Refractories

The role of the tundish is to stabilize the temperature of liquid steel and make the inclusions in liquid steel floating, in order to assure continuous casting process can smooth working when liquid steel is lacking in a short time or ladle is changing.

 With the advancement of the continuous casting process, and the high requirement for quality of steel, the proportion of the clean steel and special steel in production is expanding.

Continious casting should have the characteristics of high corrosion resistance, non-clogging, non pollution to liquid steel, and can even improve the liquid steel cleanliness.

Blast Furnace Refractories

Blast furnace is a thermal equipment for continuous iron making under high temperature. The furnace body including throat, shaft, belly, bosh, hearth and bottom from above to below.

Steel Ladle Refractory Brick

Steel ladle is an equipment of steel making-continuous casting process, which is separated into ingot casting ladle and continuous casting ladle.

As the using conditions of steel ladle is different, the requirement for selection of steel ladle refractories is also not necessarily the same, and there also exist differences in service life of linings.

Ladle bottom: magnesia carbon bricks, alumina magnesia spinel bricks, magnesia dolomite carbon bricks, alumina-magnesia unburned bricks.
Barrel: magnesia carbon bricks, alumina-magnesia-carbon bricks, magnesia dolomite carbon bricks, alumina-magnesia unburned bricks.

For small sized ladle, alumina-magnesia refractory castables are generally used as integral permanent linings.
With large and medium-sized ladle, Al₂O₃-MgO or alumina magnesia spinel castables is used as working linings for barrel and bottom.
Slag line is built by magnesia carbon bricks.
